One of Donald J. Trumps biggest promises during his 2016 Campaign was that he would bring back outsourced jobs for the people of the United States economy. This is one of the major reasons why American people voted for Mr. Trump in the Primary. Specifically, manufacturing jobs would cease production and plants would be made to run and operate in the United States. This transition is aimed towards the blue-collar hardworking Americans to, in the long run, positively affect the United States economy and benefit the working people.
The Washington Post reported that over the last 10 years the United States lost more than a quarter of its manufacturing jobs. Although we are all aware it's cheaper to manufacture products overseas, Washington Post reporter Peter Whoriskey explains that Asia is producing an ever-increasing workforce armed with engineering doctorates. China and other Asian countries are also flowing millions of dollars into high tech research in order to compete with the tech industry in the United States. For example, over the last 10 years China doubled the number of engineering doctorates awarded.
First, when you raise the cost of labor for small entry level jobs, there will be fewer of them as businesses raise their prices and clientele evaporates, some businesses will close, fewer jobs. The businesses and business models that survive will absorb those costs with rate and price increases to customers - this results in inflation therefore your dollar will be worth a little less, how much is hard to say; 10%, maybe 20%, which is about how much the minimum wage increase would be from what it is now if it went up to let's say $10.00.
As the energy was deflected, or made it through the material all of that heat and energy would make its way into openings in all of these devices. Inside of those devices we could put small spinning wheels, and then use that energy once again, rather than wasting it. We could use that energy to power up the laser itself, the robotic arm, and perhaps the assembly line mechanism. By recapturing and reusing we would indeed be one with the theory and methodology behind Six Sigma manufacturing strategies.
